Why that should mean something to you and an idea for Super Sessions.
Arianna here was my first sensual session of the new season. I can’t think of a better way to start it off. She was fun and energetic, not to mention just downright stunning. We are already making plans for another go around.
Portrait photography is a seasonal thing. When the weather warms up, it’s only natural to head outside for sessions. After a long, cold, snowy winter most people want to take advantage of the good weather for their images. There’s an infinite amount of locations that we can use as backdrops. Hotel suite rates skyrocket which limits options for some.
But the weather doesn’t remain the same. During my morning walk this morning with my dog I felt a distinct cooling off in the air temperature. Summer’s coming to an end soon which means a return to indoor work. Hotel rates will drop after Labor Day which opens up the possibility of using a nice suite for a setting along with the client’s place or mine. In other words – here comes boudoir season.
Last week I did what I would call a Super Session. The person lived 4 hours away and wanted to get the most that she could while she was here visiting. We met up for a sunrise session at the beach and then returned to my place for a sensual session. When it was all said and dine we generated well over 1,000 images to work with in the 6 hours we worked together.
We had a blast. There was a relaxed atmosphere as we didn’t have a set timeframe to be done by. We could relax and explore options. Most importantly we had time to play. I tried a lot of new things during the session – new angles, new light set ups, new poses, et cetera. In essence, the experience was mind altering as it got me to thinking.
I should offer Super Sessions while the weather lasts. It would combine the best of both worlds – the beach where we can get sensual as there’s no crowds and a regular sensual session at another location. The beach would allow us to work together and get into a groove that would carry over into the next round.
Granted, it’s not for everyone. It would require an early wake-up call and the session would probably last 5 hours. However, the rewards would be well worth the effort. I think it would be ideal for someone visiting the area or has a tight schedule.
As I sit here and type this I realize that the holiday season is fast approaching which really puts a time crunch on people. Things get hectic and free time disappears. We all scramble for that perfect gift for someone special. Can you think of a better gift for that someone or just for yourself than images from a sensual session with me?
The thing is, we need to do it soon. We have to meet and plan out what we need. We need to gather the things we need. We need to do the session or sessions to get the images we need. I need to edit the images. We need to place the order for what it is you want – a book, a magazine, a calendar, etc. We need to get it back and make sure it’s perfect. If not, it goes back for a reprinting. We get it back. It’s get’s packaged and put under the tree.
This takes months.
So, long story short (too late, I know) we need to get moving on it right now so we aren’t crunched for time and it’s perfect. Contact me today and let’s set up a session – whether it’s a Super Session or a regular sensual session. I can’t wait to hear from you.
